Luke Daniels

Luke Daniels

Goalkeeper, Luke Daniels joined Motherwell on loan early in 2008 coming from West Bromwich Albion. The duration of his stay at Fir Park was mainly spent on the bench being second choice to Graeme Smith. He did however play two games for the club, firstly he was handed his debut in surprising circumstances when he was pitched in against Celtic where the side narrowly lost 2-1 and finally he played in the last game of the 2007/08 season in a 2-0 win over Hibernian at Easter Road. Luke had begun his career with Manchester United before moving onto West Brom. Despite being on the books at the Hawthorns for over ten years he struggled to make any real impact and spent numerous spells on loan to various English club’s. He has two caps for England U19’s.
