Shea Gordon

Midfielder Shea Gordon began his footballing career with Dungannon Swifts before signing for the Sheffield United youth academy. Failing to make the break through into the first team scene at Bramall Lane he was allowed to leave the club in January 2017 with his only first team experience being loaned out to English National League North side Stalybridge Celtic.

Shea signed for Motherwell on the 31st January 2017 linking up with Stephen Craigan’s U20’s side. The 18 year old Northern Irishman made an immediate impression for the young side as by April he would make his first team bow coming off the bench to feature in a 0-0 draw against Hamilton in a Lanarkshire derby, he would follow this appearance up by making his first start only three days later against Partick Thistle at Firhill. His time at Motherwell had been affected at injury.

In July 2018 the youngster joined Scottish Championship club Partick Thistle on a season long loan, he would make a dream debut for the Jags as he scored twice within the first six minutes in a 2-0 victory over Stenhousemuir. Despite the bright star in Maryhill, an injury he sustained in a League Cup tie against Celtic would rule him out of action for eights months, he would however return to help the Jags retain their Championship status.

After only making four appearances for the Steelmen, Shea departed the club at the end of the 2018/19 season but he would subsequently sign a contract with Partick Thistle.
