Starting on 4th March 1933 with a 3-3 away draw with Kilmarnock, Motherwell remained undefeated in the league for 9 months and 19 days finally succumbing to a 2-1 defeat by Clyde on 23rd December 1933. The unbeaten stretch lasted for 30 matches in total.

Home

Between 21st September 1929 and 29th October 1932, Fir Park became somewhat of a fortress as the Steelmen enjoyed a run of 60 matches without defeat. The three year, one month and eight day spell started with a 2-0 victory over Airdrieonians and was ended by Partick Thistle winning 2-1.

Away

After losing to Celtic 1-0 in the 1933 Scottish Cup final, Motherwell embarked on a fine 16 game unbeaten run away from home. Starting with a 1-1 draw with Third Lanark on 25th April 1933 at Cathkin Park. The run was finally ended eight months, 19 days later on 13th January 1934 at Ibrox by a Rangers team who won by four goals to two.
