Bellshill born youngster, Chris Cadden came through the Motherwell youth academy. At the age of 17, he made his first team debut on the 1st March 2014 as ‘well defeated Hearts 4-1 at Fir Park. His twin brother was also in the youth system at Motherwell but as Chris progressed onto the first team Nicky was released and ended up playing for Lanarkshire rivals Airdrie. His father was also with the club in the mid to late 80s but failed to also make a senior appearance for the club.
