Stephen Craigan



Stephen CraiganPrior to joining Motherwell Stephen had Irish league experience with Bangor, who initially sent him to Blantyre Vics before calling him up in the summer of 1995. He joined up with the Motherwell Youth side and played in a tournament in Switzerland, Motherwell got to the final but were defeated by Real Madrid. He gave the Steelmen 5 seasons of loyal service before being released in the summer of 2000 and he went on to join Partick Thistle where he made the centre defence his own. In the 2002/03 season, Stephen won the Thistle player of the year before returning to Motherwell.
