Goalkeeper, Arthur Krysiak joined the club on loan from English side Birmingham City in January 2009, he would provide cover to the first choice keeper Graeme Smith. He was actually no stranger to playing at Fir Park before arriving at Motherwell as he previously had a loan spell with Gretna when they were tenants at Fir Park during the 2007/08 season.
Artur would only play one game for the club and this was on the last day of the 2008/09 season as Motherwell played host to Kilmarnock. Upon his return to England he would struggle to break into the Birmingham first team and he would spend the next season on loan at Burton Albion before leaving St Andrews in 2010 where he joined English League Two side Exeter City.
