Adam Livingstone

Adam LivingstoneA product of the Motherwell youth academy, Adam Livingstone made his debut for his boyhood heroes in the penultimate game of the 2016/17 season when he came on as a late substitute in a 3-1 win over Kilmarnock a result which meant the club was safe from any threat of relegation.

Over the next few seasons the young left back would only make a handful of appearances for the first team and was farmed out on loan on a number of occasions where he served East Fife, Greenock Morton and Clyde before being released at the end of the 2019/20 season.

Perhaps worth noting, the Scottish Challenge Cup brought some notable scalps for the Under-20s side as they enjoyed wins over a number of senior clubs from both Scotland and Ireland, Adam played in games where the youthful side dispatched the likes of Queen’s Park, East Stirling and Sligo Rovers and came close to upsetting a streetwise Ross County who were playing in the Scottish Championship.
