George MurrayWing-half, George Murray was signed by manager Bobby Ancell from Kilmarnock Amateurs in 1960. He was the elder brother of Cammy Murray who enjoyed a great spell at St Mirren but also represented Motherwell for a brief time .

While at Motherwell he was capped by Scotland under-23s against France, a game which they won 3-0. His debut in claret and amber came in a 0-0 draw against Dunfermline Athletic at Fir Park in March 1963.
