Goalkeeper, Kevin McKeown progressed through the ranks at Fir Park after joining the club from Celtic Boys Club, his route to the first team was barred by Ally Maxwell who had made the position his own. McKeown would only make a handful of appearances for the club before trying his luck in the Northern Irish league, with the biggest highlight of his career in helping Crusaders win two league championships and an Irish League Cup win, making over 200 appearances for the Hatchetmen in the process.
Kevin had a much traveled career serving no fewer than 14 clubs, he retired in 2005
