Started his career with Celtic but it was with Hibernian that Alan Sneddon made his mark. After clocking up over 300 league outings for the Hibees, and enjoying a testimonial against Aston Villa, he joined Motherwell in July 1992. He brought experience to his role but was seen more as a stop-gap replacement than a long-term solution. He later joined East Fife and played for several years with the Fife club in the lower leagues.
