Casper Sloth

One of the first recruits for the 2019/20 season, midfielder Casper Sloth looked like a real coup for the club as he had eight full caps for Denmark to his name and he had represented AGF and Aalborg in his home country. He had experienced football in the UK between 2014 -16 when he played for Leeds United who had spent approximately 600k for his services.

In truth his time in Lanarkshire would prove to be massively underwhelming, for some reason he just seemed to vanish from the scene without little reason from the management, he was known as the forgotten man as he rarely featured on the bench or even with the reserves. Casper would only make a solitary appearance for the first team and this came in a 4-0 win over Annan Athletic in a League Cup group fixture where he came on as a substitute. On the 31st January 2020 he left Fir Park by mutual consent.
