Left Back, Jordan Halsman progressed through the club’s youth system. He made his debut for the first team at the age of 17 when he was a surprise inclusion in the squad as the side travelled to Parkhead in October 2009. New ‘Well boss Jim Gannon was keen on giving youth a chance and it was reported that he was pleased by Jordan’s progress in the youth side. He would come on as a substitute in the game as a battling Motherwell side came away with a credible 0-0 draw. He would be sent out on loan and enjoyed spells with Annan Athletic, Dumbarton and Albion Rovers. He would play his last game for the club starting in a League Cup tie against Clyde early in the 2011/12 season. He was allowed to leave the club at the end of the season, he couldn’t dislodge the ever reliable Stevie Hammell from the left back slot and with the emergence of Zaine Francis-Angol it was clear he wasn’t in the clubs plans. Upon his release he was quickly signed by Greenock Morton.
