
Born in Shieldmuir, Tommy McKenzie served Motherwell Football Club for thirty-eight years as a player, coach and trainer, his playing career like many other professionals at the time was interrupted by the outbreak of World War 2. His brother Willie McKenzie also served Motherwell as a trainer for many years.
