Glasgow born midfielder Liam Brown came through the ranks at Queen’s Park, at the tender age of only 16 years, 10 months and 7 days old he made his first team bow for the Spiders in a League Two fixture against East Stirlingshire. The youngster helped the side win promotion to League One via the playoffs after enjoying a promising start to his career at Hampden where he made 35 appearances scoring two goals.
Liam joined Motherwell in June 2017 and went straight into Stephen Craigan’s under 20s side, his passing ability and drive in the middle of the park and his consistent performances made him a real stand out for the young ‘Well side.
Brown made his debut for the first team in the final match of the 2017/18 season when he came on as a late substitute as the Steelmen comfortably saw off rivals Hamilton Accies 3-0. He would depart the club at the end of the 2018/19 season and eventually signed for League Two side Edinburgh City.
