Brian Wright joined the club in 1985 coming from Hamilton Academicals for a reported fee of £18,000. He had spent 10 years at Douglas Park after joining them from Phoenix B.C. He was a tall midfielder who made quite an impact at Fir Park. In 1987 he moved to Clydebank where yet again he made a great impact. He also had a brief spell with Partick Thistle before re-joining Clydebank.
