George Banks signed from Kings Park and was a prolific goal scorer for the reserve side scoring 24 goals in 11 games hitting 5 in a game twice in 1926/27. Things didn’t go so well in the first team however as he picked up a bad injury against Partick Thistle hampering his progress. He left the club in 1928.
