James Bellamy is perhaps better known for his spell in Tayside with Dundee rather than anywhere else as he would make 118 league appearances scoring 44 goals for the Dens Park outfit, Jim would enjoy winning some silverware as he scored the first goal in the second replay which would win them the 1910 Scottish Cup.
Jim left Dundee in May 1912 to join Motherwell but sadly he wouldn’t repeat the success he had with Dundee and after a short spell where he scored just the once in eight games he moved back south to join Burnley.
After retiring from the game he managed Italian side Brescia and was manager of Barcelona between 1929 and 1931 where he won the championship, he would however be at the helm when the club suffered their record 12-1 loss to Athletic Bilbao.
