Outside Right, Ramsay Bryson signed for the club in the 1968 close season coming straight from Dalziel High School. Big things were expected from this 18 year old, he was sought by a number of senior clubs from both sides of the border but decided to choose his home town club. Indeed he would score on his debut against East Stirlingshire in a 4-0 win at Firs Park. Sadly however he wouldn’t make the impression expected and would be freed by the club in 1970. Ramsay is the son of former Lanarkshire referee George Bryson.
