Full Back, Stewart Brown joined the club in 1955 from Beith. Originally a striker, he was converted into a defensive player. Quick and Skilful he would play 31 games, scoring the solitary goal in four years before deciding it would be best to move onto pastures new. Legendary ‘Well Full Backs Willie Kilmarnock and Archie Shaw blocked his way into the first team fold at Fir Park. Stewart would later turn out for Stranraer.
