Jason Dair joined Motherwell on the aftermath of James McFadden leaving for Everton. He has played for Raith Rovers, Millwall and Dunfermline. He joined Raith Rovers from Castlebridge as a youngster and quickly established himself in one of their most successful sides. He played in the League Cup winning side of 1994, beating Celtic on penalties and were unlucky to lose to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Cup the following season. Jason followed manager Jimmy Nicholl down south to Millwall but this did not work out and he found himself back at Stark’s Park after only a season with the English club. In February 1999, he moved to rivals Dunfermline and spent three seasons there making 145 outings and netting nine times. He joined the Dossers at the start of September 2003, having made one appearance for Dunfermline that season, in a 2-0 win over Dundee at Dens Park.
