Midfielder Sean Goss joined Motherwell in late August 2021 winning a permanent contract having spent a short spell training with the club.
Highly rated as a youngster, he had started his career with Manchester United where he progressed through the Academy and was actually a team mate of ‘Well favourite Liam Grimshaw who he would link up with again years later at Fir Park.
Despite not making a competitive senior appearance at Old Trafford, Goss was sold to QPR for £500,000 in 2017, he would be subsequently sent out on loan to Scottish Premiership sides Rangers and then St Johnstone.
Sean made his Motherwell debut in a 1-0 win over Dundee on the 28th August 2021 and he scored his first goal in a 4-2 victory over St Mirren in the latter part of his debut season.
Born in Germany, Sean qualifies to play for Northern Ireland through his grandparents.
