Bert Logan signed for Motherwell in 1965 and he came straight from Junior side Tranent, he was a wing-half who made just a solitary start for the club, that was in a 3-0 home win against Falkirk in February 1966. He also fits into the one game wonder band at Alloa Athletic, upon his departure from Fir Park he rejoined Tranent.
