Jim McDaid arrived at Fir Park early in the 1966/67 season from Shotts Bon Accord. Naturally a winger he was a player who could play anywhere on the left if required, he only made two appearances for the ‘Well, against Dundee and Ayr United in October, but on both occasions he failed to score before departing the club in 1967.
