Willie McRoberts was a pacey winger who couldn’t break into the immediate post-war Motherwell side, his appearances were limited and by the time he left Fir Park he had made five league starts scoring the two goals. Willie along with team mate Sammy McGowan went to St Johnstone in 1948.
