Signed from Blackburn Rovers in June 1992. Paul Shepstone was one of Tommy McLean’s little surprise signings that did not quite work out, he had managed to make a decent amount of appearances at Ewood Park but struggled to carve out a regular first team berth. He never made the breakthrough that was hoped for and within a season of arriving he moved back to England with Wycombe Wanderers after only making a handful of appearances at Fir Park.
