Nathan Thomas joined Motherwell on the 2nd February 2015 in an exciting transfer deadline day which seen the club add a number of players including George Long, Conor Grant and Marvin Johnson.
Described as a quick and direct winger who possessed a fantastic left foot, the fans of Plymouth Argyle were surprised and really disappointed that their club allowed him to leave as they viewed him as a fantastic prospect.
Nathan made his debut for Motherwell in a 3-2 defeat at Dingwall against Ross County where he made a decent impression, however he would quickly fade from the first team scene occasionally appearing on the bench. During the summer he would move onto Mansfield Town having only made a handful of league appearances. Thomas made a decent impression while playing for Hartlepool United which won him a move to English Championship side Sheffield United in 2017.
