Striker, Dylan Mackin progressed through the Motherwell Academy. He managed to break into the cusp of the first team but found opportunities limited as the likes of Louis Moult and Scott McDonald barred his route to first team action. In January 2016 he was sent out on a development loan to Lanarkshire rivals Airdrieonians, the following January he would go out on another loan this time going Alloa Athletic.
Dylan was released by Motherwell in May 2017 when his contract expired, he promptly joined Livingston. During his career he would go into to serve Brechin City, Falkirk and Stirling Albion.
